Five Survivors Tell the World  was my first time leading the sound design on a Mainstage production. I had complete creative freedom over all sound aspects, which meant that I was responsible for conducting deep dramaturgy research. I was given access to a line array and a beautiful orchestral hall with an all-Dante system. I was able to create a surround soundscape that immersed the audience in the world of these brave women. The show was programmed on a Yamaha CL5 console, a console that I already had a solid understanding of and became even more familiar with during this production.
